BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Before arriving at your first appointment, please completely fill out our web-based Client Portal.  When you schedule your initial appointment, our Client Care Coordinator will send you an email with all the instructions. This must be completed at least the day before your scheduled appointment so we can get your file ready.

If you have had any medical tests or blood work in the past six months please email the results prior to your appointment or bring a copy with you the day of the appointment.

Your First Appointment

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

Many clients ask what they can expect on their first visit.  Your first appointment will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour.  Our standard assessments during a first appointment include Iridology (examination of the iris of the eye) and our standard assessment tool, Electro-acupuncture According to Voll (EAV); however, other methodologies can be employed as well. Click here to view a brief video about EAV.

Your appointment will include the following:

  • Analysis of nutritional, metabolic, mental/emotional, and/or physical imbalances – (DNA Hair Analysis available at additional cost)
  • Evaluation of any possible environmental toxicities
  • Review of other pertinent symptoms or aspects of your intake form
  • Initial wellness plan
  • Time for questions

The wellness plan will address your health in a complete way to help reduce your symptoms and increase your quality of life.  Naturopathy works with your body as a whole to bring it back into balance.  Your wellness plan is designed to help your body regain its balance. Because of this model, we can help you feel better and improve your health, with the exception of medical emergencies or conditions requiring immediate surgery.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS

The frequency of your appointments will vary based on your concerns and what your advisor believes is in your best interest.

Generally, your appointments will be 30 to 90 days initially and become farther apart, about every 3 to 6 months as you achieve higher and higher degrees of health.

In general, Naturopathic protocols generate health on a deeper level and this takes time.  Some estimations are one month for every year you have been sick; however, this is not always true.  Colds, flu, and other acute conditions can be resolved very quickly, often in just a few days.  Other conditions, however, often take months to years, but levels of relief may be recognized quickly.  Although the timeline to renewed health may seem long, our goal is that you will begin to see positive and lasting changes throughout your consultations.
