Be the Widow's Might

As some of you know, I was widowed in my early 40s.    It was the most horrific time of my life.   If it were not for the love of God, love of family and friends, I don’t think I could have made it through the ‘valley of the shadow of death.’

A few weeks ago, I learned that a former student, aged 27 has found herself in widow’s weeds.  I have come to understand that they had no life insurance, and she is now overwhelmed with funeral expenses and the loss of wages.

We can be the ‘Widow’s Might’ in this situation.   There has been a benefit account set up at Woodforest National Bank.  Her name is Ashlee Garner, and the account ends in –5589.

Please join me in contributing to this cause.  I can tell you from experience that a widow of whatever age feels invisible.  If everyone who reads this blog will contribute, together we can show Ashlee that she is loved, cared for.  Think about how you would want your daughter, sister or mother cared for in her time of loss.

Thank you for your support for Ashlee,

Until next time,

Polly
