CDC is anti-soda.

CDC is anti soda, and rightly so.  The sugars in the soda have been linked to the obesity epidemic and the related medical issues that we are facing here in the US.

The CDC recommends that individuals only consume 64 calories per day from soda.  This translates to less than half of a 12 ounce can.   I don’t know anyone who would be satisfied with that amount of soda.  That is the point:  the sugars in soda are addictive.  When we have some, we want more.

Interesting facts:

  1. The acid in a soda will clean the rust off the inside of a toilet bowl,
  2. The acid in a soda will clean off corrosion from battery terminals in your vehicle.
  3. Cancer grows in acid,
  4. You will need to consume eight 8 ounce glasses of water to neutralize the acid of one 12 ounce can of soda.

It’s your choice, is it worth it?

Until next time,
