New Discovery in Gut Bacteria…

It is official… Gut bacteria does make a difference in human health. According to a recent study by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany, the human population of the world can be divided into three groups according to gut bacteria.

This is a huge discovery. These types, called enterotypes have different expression, and cause the body to synthesize vitamins and aid digestion in different ways.

It is hoped that this discovery will help doctors tailor medical protocols in much the same way blood types do.

In the mean time, be sure to cultivate a good culture of positive flora in the gut. Your personal chemistry will decide which cultures will remain active. The present day Western diet with its processed foods, dyes, chemicals, and caffeine all take a toll on the good bacteria in the gut. Most people need to supplement with a good probiotic.

Until next time,
