Just read a wonderful report in the British Naturopathic Journal which showed the efficacy of using the herb, Cat’s Claw with people who suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis. In this study, one doctor found that this herb is 98% effective for relieving swollen joints, tenderness, pain, and inflammation.
These patients showed ‘significant clinical improvement’ after treatment. The study used standard measurements: Ritchie index and Visual Analog Scale (VAS). At the end of the treatment period, “the Cat’s Claw-treated patients’ scores had been cut in half in several significant areas. Their Ritchie index scores declined from 5.5 to 2.9. (In comparison, the placebo group went from 4.8 to 4.2) During phase two, the initial group saw its Ritchie index fall to 2.4. During the entire study period, there were no adverse effects attributed to Cat’s Claw treatment.’
We are fortunate to have this particular species of Cat’s Claw available at our clinic, or, if more convenient, you can order from our website. Just click on the products tab, then select Good Herbs. One there, look for Cat’s Claw.
Until next time,
Dr. Polly

It is a liquid tincture. It comes in two sizes: 1 oz and 4 oz. The prices are listed on the website.
Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips for first-time blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
Cyber Gremlins. Just find a subject you are passionate about, and speak from the heart.. Good luck to you.
After my ARTHRITIS of the spine and both knees diagnosis 5 years ago, symptoms started with severe back pain, stiffness and joint swelling, rigidity, tenderness, weakness in my knees and eventually the feeling spread to my shoulders and neck, i couldn’t lift my arm without pain medications. I was prescribed tramacet and arcoxia for 8 months but had to stop them due to the side effects. Last year, I started on herbs. The treatment worked incredibly for my arthritis condition.
