I am not exactly sure why fertility rates are declining, but here are some likely causes:
- Too many preservatives in our foods;
- Too many ‘non-food’ foods in our diet;
- Too many immunizations which cause neuro-inflammation;
- People choosing to remain childless.
Fertility is fostered by a body being healthy. When we are healthy, our hormones are in balance, our immune system and mitochondria are working at optimum levels, and fertility is a given.
Here are some things to consider if you are having fertility issues:
- Maintain an optimal weight. Science has shown that weight loss does not have to be drastic to affect fertility. Even as little as 20 pounds can make a difference.
- Make sure you are eating a diet high in nutrients. No empty calories (anything in a box or package)
- Deal with stressful issues and get them resolved. Stress is a microbiome disruptor and could cause hormonal shifts to occur, which is not conducive to fertility.
- Avoid toxic environmental chemicals. For example, PFAS are widespread in our world, and cause hormonal disruption.
- Avoid/manage EMF exposure. We are all subject to EMFs with daily device use. New research has shown that this exposure affects reproductive health.
At Abundant Health and Wellness, we have comprehensive protocols which address infertility and bring your body into natural wholeness. When the body is whole, fertility is not an issue.
Until next time,
Dr. Polly
